3d / 4d Sonography :
Like regular ultrasounds, 3D and 4D ultrasounds use sound waves to create an image of your baby in your womb.

3D ultrasounds generates a three-dimensional image of the baby. 3D scans show still pictures of your baby in three dimensions.

4D scans/sonography show 3D moving images of the baby in live mode during scanning. 4D ultrasounds give an effect like that of a movie in which you can see your baby doing things in real time (like opening and closing his eyes, yawning, and sucking his thumb).

Why 3D and 4D sonograms are performed?
Older mothers and those women who face some complications during pregnancy generally opt for 3D and 4D sonography.

3D and 4D sonography, assist the radiologist to closely analyze abnormalities in the fetus. They can record cleft lip and spine issues or analyze any other defects.
